  • Accommodation.

  • Renting kayaks
    • Kajaktiv in Dala-Floda, Stockholm and Gothenburg offers kayak rentals during race week with delivery to ÅEC. Click here to book. They can also arrange transport of kayak for training during the week
    • Kajaksidan in Stockholm offers kayak rentals during race week with pick-up and drop-off in Stockholm. Click here to book.
    • Mountain Experience / Fjällkajakcenter, near Åre, offers sea kayaks. Contact via email
    • Camp Åre offers sea kayaks from Åre beach.

  • Renting bikes
    •  Specialized offers bikes during race week Åre Bikes. Hardtail 495 kr/day and full suspension 595/day or book a two day rental for 850 kr and 1150 kr, respectively.  More info here. 
    • Åre Skidsport also offers bike rentals in Åre.
  • Transport of Equipment.  Support crews are optional. We can transport you, your kayak and your bike to the right place at the right time during the race. Read more in Swedish or in English.
  • Race banquet and prize-giving Saturday night. Banquet tickets are included for all competitors, but you can buy extra tickets for your support crew, family, friends here.  If you book the Copperhill Mountain Lodge accommodation package, you get a reduced price for extra banquet tickets and other meals during race week – read more here in English eller här på svenska). The banquet and prizegiving ceremony will be a combined event in 2018.
  • Travel to Åre. There are various options to get to Åre:
    • Car. Approximately 6 hrs from Stockholm or 1 hr from Östersund airport in Sweden or 2 hrs from Trondheim airport in Norway.
    • Train. Order tickets on-line via SJ from Stockholm and other major cities toÅre. The train stops right outside Holiday Club hotel.
    • Plane. Book flights on-line with SAS or Bra, both land in Östersund from Stockholm. It is a 60 min taxi ride to Åre (train options exist, but are not timed well with plane landings, which makes the taxi a more expensive but reliable option.
  • Discover Åre.  Åre is the center of Sweden’s adventure tourism. Most racers spend the whole week enjoying whitewater rafting, hang/gliding, downhill MTB, fly fishing, hiking, canyoneering/zip line, photography, and some Sweden’s best food! More info here.
