Haglöfs Åre Extreme Challenge is the first Multisport race in Scandinavia and was started in 1997. The race is located in the fantastic suroundings of Åre and consists of white water kayaking, mountain running and biking. The start is by the waterfall Tännforsen followed by kayaing down the river Indalsälven to Åre, in Åre it is a transition to running. After you have climbed the Åreskutan and run down to Huså the race continues on Mountainbike back to Åre and the finishline on the square.
