Registration for transport help

To simplify logistics for all competitors and to reduce car miles traveled, the race organization is offering transport for Åre Extreme Challenge on 29 June 2019.    

  • We offer transport of kayak, bike, and/or person to race start for all race classes on Race Day, plus even ÅEC Run-N-Bike.
  • Transport bookings are done on-line and open in fall 2018.

 

The following transport can be purchased:

 

1. ÅEC RIVER CLASS (SOLO)

Price 250 kr for if you purchase all three options below.

Kayak                                             

  • To Tännforsen. Kayaks protected overnight in a garage and taken out Saturday morning by the volunteers.

Bike

  • To Huså transition. Volunteers will place the bikes according to start nr in the transition.
  • Drop-off: More info/map coming soon ...
  • Price: 100 Kr 

Person

  • Copperhill’s main entrance – via Draklanda – to Tännforsen
  • Departure: Saturday 29 June 05:00 from Copperhill Mountain Lodge
  • Price: 100 Kr

 

2. ÅEC LAKE CLASS* (SOLO, DUO, TEAM)

Bike

  • To Huså transition. Volunteers will place the bikes according to start nr in the transition.
  • Drop-off more info/map coming soon ...
  • Price: 100 Kr NOTE! DUO class pays 2 x 100 kr for both bikes or 100 kr for one.

Person

  • Copperhill’s main entrance to race start at Draklanda
  • Departure: Saturday 30 June 06:00 from Copperhill Mountain Lodge
  • Price: 100 Kr NOTE! DUO class pays 2 x 100 kr for both teammates/kayaks

 * NOTE: We will not offer kayak transport for LAKE CLASS 2019.  Instead, we will offer participants the chance to leave their kayak at the Draklanda transition (very close to the town center) the night before and we will have security overnight to watch the kayaks.

3. ÅEC RUN-N-BIKE RACE 

Bike

CLOTHES AND LOST AND FOUND

The race organization will help to transport clothes from the start and transitions to the finish. More information will be posted here in spring 2019.
